DetailsThis unique zippered clutch bag has been upcycled from Vintage Obi (the sash of the Kimono).
PATTERN:
• Throughout all of Asia, the crane has been a symbol of happiness and eternal youth. In Japanese, Chinese, and Korean tradition, cranes stand for good fortune and longevity because of its fabled life span of a thousand years.
The Japanese refer to the crane as “the bird of happiness.
• The Hexagon (KIKKOU) resembles a tortoise shell and is also a very common symbol of long life.
• The Pine Tree (MATSU) is believed to live for 100 years. It is a hardy plant that symbolises strength and long life. There are a number of different forms the motif takes, from very angular to mushroom shaped: these depict the age of the tree and whether it is in blossom.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
You will may not receive the identical bag as shown in the picture, however you would receive a clutch in the same cut of the same Kimono Obi, which makes your piece very alike.
Each piece is unique. None are the same.
My clutches are recrafted from Vintage Obi. Due to this you may notice stains or blots on some of the products.
Outer surfaces with embroidery, must be cared for in order to avoid damages. It is advisable to avoid extended exposure to sun and humidity.
Clutches cannot be washed. -
