Every bag I create is made entirely by hand from a vintage Japanese Obi – the beautiful silk sash traditionally worn with a Kimono.
No two bags are ever the same. Each piece carries the history, craftsmanship and elegance of Japanese textile art while giving these exceptional fabrics a new life as a timeless accessory.

The Meaning Behind the Pattern
This Obi features several traditional Japanese motifs, each carrying its own symbolism:
✧ Kikkou (Hexagon) – inspired by the turtle shell, representing longevity and good fortune.
✧ Hanabishi – a diamond-shaped floral motif symbolizing beauty and refinement.
✧ Sayagata – an ancient pattern representing infinity, harmony and continuous happiness.
✧ Noshi – decorative ceremonial ribbons that stand for celebration, prosperity and good luck.

• Keep away from excessive moisture.
• Spot clean only. Do not machine wash.
